The Vivacious Word and World Peace

I can remember lively moments.  Those times linger like fluttering butterflies; they show up in spring like fireflies.  There is absolutely nothing that can compare to a child’s vivacity in the face of delightfulness.  If we could fill our hearts with their joy, I think we would literally float…

Like gathered shells and hearts of coral, our stories have a place to nurture.

Today was an enormously weighty day for me and the word vivacious took me to boxes of photos to find and share the best of smiles.  I cannot get my phone to send the pictures to my computer as I have been doing.  Suspicion has raised my eyebrows to consider the state of our reality in America.  Maybe since I stepped forth being a total Christian Conservative, as a dear friend suggested, my postings will be shuffled, and somehow made to go to the back of the line.

I’m not sure and at this point it doesn’t matter.

I know that all who are meant to read these thoughts will, and none other,  So, I rest  “vivaciously” to recommend a great book for anyone having that secret dream waiting to be made into a reality.

There’s Always Time for Greatness Who did what from ages 1-100 by Andrew Postman appeared as a sole bloom in spring.  The great news about it is that we have the thumbprint of our greatness stamped in our hearts, and to get the confidence up, we must be on fertile ground somewhere and certainly surrounded by encouragement.

” All the forces in the world are not as powerful as an idea whose time has come.” _Victor Hugo

I think the time has come.  The idea came to me in the best prayer we can say: “Thy will be done.”

The idea is to free ourselves to learn how to be the life that gives life to others.  The quality of being vivacious as I saw it in my sons growing up, was literally the elixir that kept me in touch with God.

” Write it in your heart that every day is the best day of the year.”
_ Ralph Waldo Emerson

They filled me with the breath of life to do all I could to make things right and their laughter, their joy moving forward in activities, and the hundreds of little deeds that filled my heart with gratefulness, have completed the circle of parenthood in my life.  I cherish what lives as a memory.  I wish to pass on their encouragement for others.  How?

Return in kind the inspiration, the contagiousness of being joyful.  If I had the chance to relive a day with each of my boys when they still reached to take my hand, I would.  I am so glad I was there.

As parents, we are blessed to watch our children grow. We measure milestones by their interests, and their happiness.  It is good to know they will leave footprints in the sand of time for others to follow.

The vivacious word is timely for people of all ages to serve as a token of peace.  I wish I could take away the whole world’s pain yet I cannot anymore than anyone else.  I wish I could pour peace from a pitcher  to everyone wanting their cup to be filled.  I wish  I could expand faith to reach the desperate, and extend the love to drown the hatred.

” I would like to paint the way a bird sings.” _ Claude Monet

” God always takes the simplest way.” _ Albert Einstein

I wish we each had a day in a field of flowers to take time to be in the presence of our Almighty in His playground.

“God enters by a private door into every individual.” _ Ralph Waldo Emerson

I wish every one of you the door open.

“Faith is the strength by which a shattered world shall emerge into the light.” _Helen Keller

I wish the world wakes up to hear the Alleluia, and not be shattered.  A way to peace is certain if we can teach what we have learned to help hold back the wrongs.  A way must be found to reach the masses through video games if necessary, or cartoons, or movies, or short stories, or poems, or all of these and more by each and all who can write or sing or speak.

We cannot fuel the evil by giving in to platforms that clearly are demonic.  We have to take time to do what is right.

The time for greatness is now at every age, and in each moment we can take steps toward creating peace.  How?

” There is no beautifier or complexion, or form, or behavior, like the wish to scatter joy and not pain around us.” _ Ralph Waldo Emerson

The altruistic desire for all this may even seem unachievable.  However, why can’t we in every walk of life expect it as we give it?

To begin to will it is a start.

” Ask and it shall be given you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you.” _Matthew 7:7-8

Good night and God bless.
