There is quiet excitement at the start of each journey. The year springs forward on the day assigned to be the first day. In East Texas the Azaleas have sprung from their winter’s coat; their festive adornment stirs the breeze to fan them. Soon Easter will beckon us to revere the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The nonbeliever has yet to willfully search to find the treasure of our everlasting lives. Despite the denial, spring promises a new beginning.
“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love for I put my trust in you.” _ 1 Peter 5:6-7
This is a good day to tidy up the paper work. On my Vision Board, I have a large white painted room surrounded by book shelves just shoulder high with windows above them every few feet to let in the light of the moon, stars and sunbeams. There is a glass door that leads to a landing with comfortable chairs coupled with round tables all overlooking a body of water somewhere, God knows best.
His flame is eternal in the hearts of the faithful.
With paper clips in a bowl, waiting to do its work, I sip from the cup that blessed me this morning:
“Hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts.” _ Romans 5:5
What will you spring forward to accomplish today? I wish you in prayer a star shine every day…
